On 5/11/2022 Hellenic Mediterranean University (ELMEPA) students attended an educational visit at the pilot olive groves of LIFE IGIC project. The students observed and got informed about the agricultural practices applied and the green infrastructure established in and around the groves in the context of Life IGIC, in order to achieve reconnection of natural habitats, reduce the environmental footprint of the groves as well as provide several agroecosystem services.
